While having sex with a new partner can be fun and exciting, it can also be a little nerve-wracking. Turns out, the weirdness isn't just in your head: Sex with a new partner can actually freak out your vagina a bit too. And we're not talking about STDs. It's not anything to worry about-and certainly not a reason to abstain forever.
Tom and Janis Morrison is a young couple who lives in the town of Greensboro in Alabama. They had to call an ambulance last night due to a very serious problem. Samantha Irving, the operator who took the call, says she thought it as a joke when he explained the situation. The woman told me that her husband had fallen and that his head was now stuck in her vaginal cavity. I really thought that it was a group of teenagers making a prank call.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Alter, who has practices in both New York and Beverly Hills, explains on his website how he does the procedure. First, patients have to undergo electrolysis treatments to permanently remove their pubic hair so it doesn't grow inside the vagina. Then, they go under sedation and the surgery, which lasts three to seven hours , begins.
It cleans itself. That's what vaginal discharge is for, after all. Having a clear or white-ish discharge is perfectly healthy, and it flushes out bacteria and old cells to prevent any unwanted pathogens from entering the uterus. So there's no need for you to come at your vagina with scented soaps —only baby shampoo, please—as you don't want to upset its pH balance.
